Hi! I’m Jess, a Creative Producer based in Oakland, California.

These days, photography is my medium of choice, but I also enjoy telling stories through podcasts, film, and most recently, writing! I approach my storytelling work with curiosity, and lean on my personal experiences in a community to inform my reporting. I cover stories on immigration, evangelicalism in Latinx communities, and climate change in Latin America. I bleed orange (go Longhorns!) and hold a Master’s of Journalism from UC Berkeley.
